K-Movie Review: Once We Were Us

Hey guys, it's been a while since I found a K-Movie that I enjoyed watching and I'll be sharing a review in a long time! "Once We Were Us" is a 2025 film starring Moon Ga-Young and Koo Kyo-Hwan about two past lovers who unexpectedly reunite again 10 years later where they reminisce about their love story. Ten years ago, Jeong Won (portrayed by Moon Ga-Young) and Eun-Ho (portrayed by Koo Kyo-Hwan) met on a bus ride home to their hometown, and ever since they became best friends who confided in each other. K-Drama Review: Resident Playbook

Hey guys, it's been a while since I found a K-drama that I really enjoy watching and Resident Playbook is definitely one of them which I'll be sharing a review on! :) A spin-off drama of the popular Hospital Playlist series, Resident Playbook is a 12-episodes TvN Drama starring Go Youn Jung, Shin Shi Ah, Han Ye Ji, Kang You Seok and Jung Jun Won that revolves around the daily lives of 4 first-year residents in the obstetrics and gynecology department at the Jongno Branch of the Yulje Medical Center.  We have Oh Yi Young (portrayed by Go Youn Jung) who is forced to return as a resident doctor as she found herself in debt after quitting the local hospital. Whilst she is good at her job, she is an introvert who appears to be unbothered about everything except when it comes to food as she is a foodie. T-Drama Review: Breeze By The Sea

Hey guys, it has been a super long time since I last watched a Taiwanese drama and I really enjoyed watching this 2024 drama called 'Breeze by the Sea' starring Chen Bolin, Puff Kuo, Charles Lin and Cecelia Choi. When I first came across this drama, I was interested to watch it as it is directed by Peter Ho, who is a famous actor and director, and it also stars veteran actors such as Chen Bolin and Puff Kuo. This drama is about a famous movie star, Bai Yin Mo (portrayed by Chen Bolin), who is cold and rude, who got into a scandal, and decides to visit a small village 'Kinmen', to get used to the place before starring in a reality show in order to redeem his public image. At the village, Yin Mo meets Li Hai Nuo (portrayed by Puff Kuo), the granddaughter and host of a B&B. Unlike Yin Mo, Hai Nuo is very cheerful and liked by everyone at the village. Hey guys, it's 2025 and there's a huge lineup of K-dramas for this year!  For this post, I will be sharing some of the K-dramas that I am currently watching and my thoughts on them so far!  1. When the Stars Gossip 'When the Stars Gossip' is a 12-episodes sci-fi themed TvN drama starring Lee Min Ho, Gong Hyo Jin, Oh Jung Se, Heo Nam Joon and many more! This drama is about the love story between Gong Myung (portrayed by Lee Min Ho), a gynaecologist, and Eve (portrayed by Gong Hyo Jin), a female astronaut. At the request of his rich chaebol girlfriend, Go Eun's father's request, Gong Myung travels to outer space as a tourist for a few days to carry out a secret mission. At the space station, he meets Eve, who is the commander on her first mission and he unexpectedly falls in love with her during his time there. C-Drama Review: Meet Yourself

Happy New Year 2025! 💫 Hey guys, so I came across this C-drama, "Meet Yourself" starring Liu Yi Fei and Li Xian last year and I really enjoyed watching this series. I have not watched many C-dramas to date but this drama is definitely one of my all-time favourite C-drama that I would highly recommend if you enjoy watching meaningful and healing slice-of-life, romance genre dramas! The story is about Xu Hong Dou (portrayed by Liu Yi Fei), a workaholic who has been working non-stop as a hotel manager at a large hotel chain in Beijing. After losing her best friend who unexpectedly died from cancer one day, her life came to a sudden standstill and she could no longer focus on work. She then decides to quit her job in the city and move to a small village called "Yun Miao" which is located in Dali, Yun Nan province. K-Drama Review: Family by Choice

Hey guys! It's been a while since I found a K-drama that I enjoyed watching and I decided to share a review! Family by Choice   is a 16-episodes JTBC drama starring Hwang In Yeop, Jung Chae Yeon and Bae Hyeong Sung! This drama is a remake of a Chinese drama 'Go Ahead', I have not watched the Chinese version yet, but I definitely enjoyed watching this Korean remake!  This story is about three individuals, Kim San Ha (portrayed by Hwang In Yeop), Yoon Joo Won (portrayed by Jung Chae Yeon) and Hae Jun (portrayed by Bae Hyeong Sung) who come from different family and how they ended up living together. Joo Won is the only child and she lives with her single father who runs a kalguksu noodle shop. One day, San Ha moves into the same apartment complex as Joo Won with his family and they became friends after Joo Won's father invited him over to their house. Hey guys, it's almost the end of the year and I'm super excited with the latest line up of K-dramas this winter! For this post, I would like to share a list of dramas that I am currently watching and my thoughts on them so far! 1. Love your Enemy  사랑은외나무다리에서   Love your Enemy is a 12-episodes Disney+ drama starring Joo Ji Hoon and Jung Yu Mi. This story is about two individuals with the same name, Seok Ji Woo (portrayed by Joo Ji Hoon) and Yoon Ji Woo (portrayed by Jung Yu Mi), who were born on the same day to two families who have been arch enemy for generations and how they meet again 18 years later after briefly dating each other in high school.  Thoughts on the drama so far... These two chaotic duos are hillarious and it has been really fun watching them bicker and argue with each other! J-Drama Review: Kimi ga Kokoro wo Kuretakara (The Gift of Your Heart)

  Hey guys, so I just recently finished watching another Japanese drama, Kimi ga Kokoro wo Kuretakara (The Gift of Your Heart) starring Mei Nagano and Yuki Yamada, and it was suprisingly really good! I have been a fan of Mei Nagano since I first watched her in a Japanese Movie called "You Shine in the Moonlight Lit", and I had to check out this drama when I found out that she was the female lead!  This story is about Aihara Ame (portrayed by Mei Nagano), who is someone who doesn't have much confidence in herself due to her traumatic childhood and she does not like how her name, Ame, which means rain, feels gloomy just like how her life is. It wasn't until one day when she met Asano Taiyo (portrayed by Yuki Yamada), who attends the same high school as her, that her life began to be filled with joy and happiness. Hey guys, I recently finished another Japanese drama which I really enjoyed and would like to share a review on!  9 Border tells the story about three sisters who are at the border age of 19 years old, 29 years old and 39 years old, and how they navigate through their border age.  Nana Oba (portrayed by Haruna Kawaguchi) is 29 years old and she is the middle child among the three sisters, and is known as the most reliable sibling in the family. She is single and very good at her job. However, although she is promoted to become the youngest assistant manager at her company, she feels pressured by her younger peers and colleagues who are getting married and having children. One day, she meets a man, Kotaro (portrayed by Kôhei Matsushita) who lost his memories due to an accident. J-Drama Review: Watashi Wo Moratte (Take Me)

Hey guys, it has been a such a long time since my last drama review. Lately, I have been into Japanese dramas and I've decided to share a review of one of the dramas that I recently came across and really enjoyed watching!  Watashi Wo Morratte is a 16-episode Japanese fantasy drama based on a Korean webtoon  "Take Me, I'm Yours", starring Maeda Goki and Kubota Sayu.  This drama tells the story about two individuals who becomes inte rtwined by fate under unusual circumstances. Ichijo Ryoei (portrayed by actor Maeda Goki) is the managing director of a family conglomerate company - Enbeat, and Morikawa Natsumi (portrayed by actress Kubota Sayu) is an ordinary woman.  This drama is split into two parts (with 8 episodes in each parts) - the first part is known as the 'memory arc' (tsuioku hen), and the second part is the 'romance arc' (koiji hen).    *spoilers alert below* The 'Memory Arc'  (Tsuioku Hen) The story begins with Ryoei who is being fram...

Deborah" which was pretty good and decided to share a review of this drama!  Bo-Ra! K-Movie Review: A Year End Medley

Happy New Year 2022!  For my very first post in a long time, I've decided  to share a review of a new  romantic comedy movie - "A New-Year Medley", that is perfect for the festive season.  "A New-Year Medley" is a special new year's eve movie directed by Kwak Jae Young (the same director who worked on many famous classic movies- My Sassy Girl, The Classic, Windstruck, etc.) This movie is  set at "Hotel Emross" and it tells the different stories of people who work and stay at the hotel during the year-end holiday season.  This movie stars a list of A-list Korean stars from Han Ji Min, Lee Dong Wook, Kang Ha Neul, ImYoona, and many more! With so many characters in the movie, be prepared for one of those movies where every character has a story and they all seem to interconnect at the end of the movie.
