K-Movie Review: A Year End Medley

Happy New Year 2022!  For my very first post in a long time, I've decided  to share a review of a new  romantic comedy movie - "A New-Year Medley", that is perfect for the festive season.  "A New-Year Medley" is a special new year's eve movie directed by Kwak Jae Young (the same director who worked on many famous classic movies- My Sassy Girl, The Classic, Windstruck, etc.) This movie is  set at "Hotel Emross" and it tells the different stories of people who work and stay at the hotel during the year-end holiday season.  This movie stars a list of A-list Korean stars from Han Ji Min, Lee Dong Wook, Kang Ha Neul, ImYoona, and many more! With so many characters in the movie, be prepared for one of those movies where every character has a story and they all seem to interconnect at the end of the movie. While their stories were shown throughout the movie, I've separated the stories for a more comprehensive review.  (*spoilers ahead*)   The first st

Hey guys, so I recently came across this 2018 drama, Ms. Ma, Nemisis by chance and I really enjoyed watching this drama! After the incident, she received a phone call from her best friend's number believed to be from the serial killer who told her that there would be no more murders after her best friend. This made Cha Yeong Jin determined to catch the ki

K-Drama Review: My Unfamiliar Family

What is the meaning of family? Though the meaning of family is evolving and transforming in today's world, one thing that doesn't change is the question of how familiar are you with your  family members? It's a fact that we often take things for granted when it comes to our family without even realizing it and perhaps the closest people in our lives are actually the furthest strangers. My Unfamiliar Family is a 16-episodes TvN drama starring Choo Ja Hyun, Han Ye Ri, Kim Ji Suk and many others. I just finished watching this heartwarming family drama and decided to share a review on this drama!  The story is about your average family which consists of an elderly couple and their 3 adult children who are actually strangers to each other even though they are family. The eldest daughter, Eun Joo (portrayed by actress Choo Ja Hyun) is an ex-attorney who is now married to a renowned doctor. While the middle child and second daughter of the family, Eun Hee (portrayed by actress Han
